Hiring The Chemistry Centre
The Chemistry Centre includes the Library, Council Room, Hinshelwood Room, Priestly Room and Fish Room, and is priced at highly competitive rates.
All rooms have state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and can accommodate a wide variety of events ranging from receptions and award ceremonies to workshops and business meetings.
Our outstanding in-house catering coupled with a range of room sizes from the Hinshelwood Room (capacity 12, boardroom style) to our beautiful library (capacity 100, theatre style) mean that we have facilities to cater for all occasions.
Rooms available
The Library
The Library, a stunning and flexible space, is the largest room in our historic venue. As well as being a functional Library, it can hold a wide variety of events.
The Fish Room
Named after Tony and Angela Fish, the Fish Room is an elegant ground floor room that looks out onto the main courtyard that is suitable for meetings, receptions and presentations.
The Council Room
The second largest space for hire in The Chemistry Centre, the Council Room is a very flexible space that can cater for large meetings, dinners, workshops and more.
The Priestley Room
Set back from the activity of the courtyard, the Priestley Room is a private room suitable for meetings and presentations.
The Hinshelwood Room
Housing many articles from the RSC's Historical Collection, the Hinshelwood Room is ideal for small meetings or presentations.
