Syngenta have donated £1m over five years to build science capacity in the developing world through the Pan Africa Chemistry Network, an innovative approach to working with the scientific community in Africa.

With a special focus on Millennium Development Goals and the countries of sub-Saharan Africa, the network will ultimately span the entire continent, creating a self-sustaining science base. Syngenta's donation will support the first hub of the network, based in Nairobi University, Kenya.
