Continuing Professional Development

These courses will compliment the RSC Continuing Professional Development scheme as part of the RSC's commitment to lifelong learning.

The ESM courses have been designed to facilitate progression through the membership categories. Admission to the category of Member (MRSC) can be achieved after two years rather than the usual three providing that the applicant has either:

• Attended five of the ESM training courses; or
• Attended four of the ESM training courses and completed the online Knowing Yourself assessment   

These requirements are in addition to the applicant being able to demonstrate the development of key skills through professional experience and the implementation of the learning outcomes from the ESM courses.
