Society for Medicines Research: Recent Disclosures of Clinical Candidates
The theme of the December 2009 SMR meeting will be 'Recent Disclosures of Clinical Candidates' with an international line-up of speakers presenting on the discovery and early development of recent agents that have made it through to the clinic. The programme includes a wide variety of mechanistic approaches covering disease areas ranging from pain, endometriosis and psoriasis through to cancer, allergic rhinitis and pulmonary hypertension. The meeting will open with the 2009 SMR Award lecture which will be delivered by Dr. Ann Weber and will describe the discovery and clinical development of Januvia™, a new and innovative treatment for diabetes.
