Communication skills are essential to all scientists and an important part of studying science is learning to communicate your results to others an work in a team. Some scientists choose to use the skills and knowledge they developed whilst studying science to do jobs such as:

• journalist
• press officer
• web editor
• education officer (eg in a museum, university or in industry)
• events or conference organiser
