Analytical Division Council

Gillian Greenway
The Analytical Division (AD) has around 9,000 members and a broad portfolio of activities.  There is a strong Group and Regional network within AD, providing a range of scientific and social meetings, which thrives on the sustained efforts of its local/specialised membership.

AD is also active in many other areas, including the Analytical Methods Committee, which can be considered the technical arm of the Division, and international links with e.g. the Division of Analytical Chemistry of EuCheMS and the FACSS meeting in the United States.

The Analytical Division is thriving and looking to build stronger links with other Divisions and Forums and with relevant external bodies.  At the same time it is crucial that we respond to the needs of our membership through our various regions, groups and specialist committees.
