Education Division
The Education Division promotes the study and dissemination of knowledge of chemical education at all levels.
The Division has 9 Regions and 4 Specialist Interest Groups. The Education Division Regions organise regionally based activities focused on local initiatives and interests. Many of the activities are organised in partnership with other organisations.
In addition, the Division has two Awards:
- Schools Education Awards
- Higher Education Teaching Awards
It has a fund for travel grants and also a scheme for education researchers to enable attendance at conferences on the subject in the USA.

Education Division Travel Grants
Travel grants are available for members of the RSC to attend conferences which are primarily concerned with chemical education.
Chemistry Education Activating Research
The Education Division has a small number of bursaries to assist members of the Royal Society of Chemistry to activate and energise their research in chemical education.

Concerned with assessment methods used in chemistry education
Promotes research at all levels of education
Promotes and evaluates new educational materials and techniques for teaching in chemistry
Provides a forum for discussion of teaching and learning of chemistry at Higher Education level
