Dr Chris Wood
Christopher Wood, PhD is a chemist and bioengineer with over 9 years experience in the development of ultrasensitive point-of-care diagnostics. Currently working as Director of R&D at MOMM Diagnostics Gmbh in Basel Switzerland he also maintains a research position at the School of Life Sciences, FHWN in the in-vitro diagnostics department. Chris studied Chemistry at the University of Oxford and obtained his PhD on the topic of Metal Organic Self Assembly at the University of Cambridge. He gained his IVD experience during his Postdoc at Imperial College London and as MSC postdoctoral fellow developing motile nanomaterial theranostics at Karolinska Institute in Stockholm.
