We are looking behind the curtain at Analytical Methods to find out who's involved in different parts of making the journal a success story.
This time we are introducing Professor Xiu-Ping Yan, Associate Editor for Asia.
Together with Professor Sue Lunte (Associate Editor for the Americas) and Professor Antonio Molina-Diaz (Associate Editor for Europe), Professor Xiu-Ping Yan completes the team of regional offices, dealing with submissions to the journal from their respective geographical areas.

Professor Xiu-Ping Yan is a Professor of "Chang Jiang Scholars Program" at Nankai University, China. He is also the author or co-author of 130 publications in international journals and 8 patents. His research interests include analytical atomic (mass) spectrometry and its combination with flow injection and chromatography/capillary electrophoresis, green methodologies for sample pretreatment, and advanced functional materials for environmental analysis and bioanalysis.
