Analytical Methods appoints Editorial Offices
24 July 2009
RSC Publishing is proud to announce the expansion of the Analytical Methods team:

Brett Paull from Dublin City University has been appointed Editor-in-Chief and Chair of the Editorial Board of this prestigous new journal. 'I believe this exciting new journal will lead the way in demonstrating the essential link between fundamental and applied analytical science, providing solutions to challenging analytical problems of wide societal concern,' comments Paull.
Professor Paull's research interests are based within the fields of analytical, bioanalytical and environmental chemistry, particularly fundamental (new materials and detection techniques) and applied aspects of ion chromatography (IC), capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) and coupled techniques such as liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.
Professor Paull is also supported by two Regional Offices, led by high calibre scientists who will be handling submissions from different geographical regions:

Professor Lunte's research interests are bioanalytical chemistry, pharmaceutical and biomedical analysis.
Submissions from Europe will be handled by Associate Editor Professor Antonio Molina Diaz from Jaen University in Spain.

Professor Molina Diaz works on solid phase spectroscopy, flow through injection analysis, flow through optosensors, automation, GC/MS; LC/MS and chemical analysis by vibrational spectroscopy.
A further extension of regional offices can soon be expected as the Analytical Methods team hopes to announce an Associate Editor in the Asia-Pacific region very soon.
