As part of our continuing promotional activities to highlight the success of the journal and recognise the latest outstanding new research in the fields of physical chemistry and chemical physics, PCCP is presenting a series of prizes at conferences throughout 2009. 

The PCCP 13-ICQC Poster Prizes were awarded at the recent International Congress of Quantum Chemistry, which took place in Helsinki, Finland, from 22-27 June 2009. The meeting was attended by nearly 700 participants from 55 countries. There were three poster prizes, which were awarded to:

• E. Neuscamman, T. Yanai and G. K.-L. Chan (Cornell University and Institute of Molecular Science, Okazaki, Japan) for their poster 'Canonical Transformation Theory: Dynamic Correlation for Strongly Interacting Electrons'
• I. Kassal and A. Aspuru-Guzik (Harvard University) for their poster entitled 'Quantum Computers for Quantum Chemistry'
•  A. D. Dutoi and L. S. Cederbaum (Institute of Physical Chemistry, Heidelberg University) for their poster 'Tracing ultrafast molecular electronic energy transfer in real time and space'

The prize-winners received a PCCP Prize Certificate and a financial reward. Further PCCP Prizes are scheduled to be awarded later on this year.
