PCCP is delighted to announce a high-profile themed issue on Bioelectrochemistry, Guest Edited by Daren Caruana (University College London), Nicolas Mano (Bordeaux) and Julie Macpherson (University of Warwick). It is our pleasure to invite you to submit to this themed issue. 

The aim of the issue is to create a current state-of-the-art snapshot to highlight new and exciting developments in the area of bioelectrochemistry. It will cover the areas of investigative bioelectrochemistry, structure investigations, applications and devices and the development of new techniques. 

The purpose of this themed issue is to collect together in one place some of the latest exciting work in this area, as well as to review recent progress in this field. We believe such a themed issue is timely, and will make an important and lasting contribution to this area. 

Deadline for Submission: 26 April 2010 

Submissions, either communications or full papers, should be high-quality manuscripts of original, unpublished research, containing important new physical insight. All submissions will be subject to rigorous peer review to meet the usual high standards of PCCP.
