Adducts of co-ordination compounds. Part IX. Halogenocarbon solvates of trihalogenotripyridinerhodium(III)

Abstract

Synthetic and spectroscopic studies are reported of several crystalline solvates of the type mer-[Rh(L)3X2Y],Sn, where L may be pyridine, perdeuteriopyridine, or γ-picoline, X and Y are Br and Cl, S= CH2Cl2, CHCl3, or CDCl3, and 1 ⩽n⩽ 3. An Appendix lists known halogenocarbon solvates of metal complexes.
