Dr. Norbert Jakubowski is a senior scientist working in elemental mass spectrometry at "ISAS - Institute of Analytical Sciences" in the department of "Proteomics". His research interest is related to trace elemental analysis with a focus on instrumental developments in plasma source mass spectrometry (ICP-MS, GD-MS) and method development for speciation of hetero-elements in bio-molecules (P, S, As, Se, Cr, Ni, Pt, Pd, Rh). Specifically, he is now developing elemental labelling techniques for proteins and antibodies.
