Quantitative protein phosphorylation analysis: the role of ICP-MS

This review summarises the evolution and great present importance of analytical methods based on 31P detection by ICP-MS for quantitative protein phosphorylation analysis, which constitute an essential component of the emerging trend called heteroatom-tagged proteomics.
