NPR Board Member given RSC award

Emma Raven (University of Leicester), a member of the Editorial Board for NPR has won the RSC 2008 award for Reaction Kinetics and Mechanisms.

Emma was awarded the prize in recognition of her major contribution to the field of metalloenzymes, and especially for her interdisciplinary mechanistic approach to unravelling the relationships between structure, function and mechanism in heme proteins, particularly through her work on ascorbate peroxidase and more recently heme dioxygenases.
Emma has been a member of the NPR Editorial Board since 2005.
