Issue 8 of NPR features two Highlight articles. The first, by Christophe Corre and Greg Challis (University of Warwick, UK) describes several examples of novel biosynthetic chemistry discovered by investigations of cryptic gene clusters. The second, by Alexander Koglin and Christopher Walsh (Harvard Medical School, US) highlights recent structural insights into nonribosomal peptide enzymatic assembly lines.
