Call for papers: Enabling Technologies for Organic Synthesis

23 June 2009

OBC is delighted to announce a high-profile web theme issue on Enabling Technologies for Organic Synthesis, guest edited by Professor Oliver Kappe (Karl-Franzens University, Graz, Austria). The issue is scheduled for publication in spring 2010. It is our pleasure to invite you to submit to this web theme issue.

There is an increasing number of publications demonstrating the advantages that technologies such as microwaves, flow reactors and mechanochemistry can offer the organic chemist.

The aim of this theme issue is to collect together in one place some of the latest exciting work in this area. We believe such a theme issue is timely and will make an important and lasting contribution to the field. Authors will benefit by increased exposure of their research alongside similar work. In addition, as this is a web-based theme issue, printing of articles will not be held for a specific issue thereby allowing rapid dissemination of the science presented online and in print.

Deadline for Submission: 30 November 2009

Submissions, either communications or full papers, should be high-quality manuscripts of original, unpublished research that will make an important contribution to the field of organic chemistry.

All submissions will be subject to rigorous peer review to meet the usual high standards of OBC

Manuscripts can be submitted using the ReSourCe web submissions service or as an email attachment to the OBC Editorial Office. Please indicate on submission that your manuscript is intended for this theme issue.
