Professor Jeffrey Bode
Jeffrey Bode studied chemistry at Trinity University, the California Institute of Technology, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich, and the Tokyo Institute of Technology before starting his independent career is 2003. He is currently Associate Professor of Chemistry at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. His research centers on the discovery and development of new organic reactions including chemoselective ligation reactions for peptide synthesis and new catalytic processes for C-N, C-O, and C-C bond formation. He has been a member of the OBC Editorial Board since 2009.
