Chemical Society Reviews is pleased to welcome Professor Helma Wennemers to the Editorial Board. 

Professor Wennemers, from the University of Basel, Switzerland, completed her PhD thesis under the supervision of Professor W. Clark Still at Columbia University, New York, then pursued postdoctoral studies with Professor Hisashi Yamamoto at Nagoya University, Japan. 

The research of Professor Wennemers' group is focused on peptides as asymmetric catalysts, selective peptide recognition, polyprolines as molecular scaffolds and selective peptide cleavage. Other recent work includes the use of peptides to generate metal nanoparticles.
