In 2008 the Journal of Environmental Monitoring (JEM) will be celebrating its tenth anniversary, and to mark this occasion we are planning a number of high profile activities throughout the year.

We are planning to publish 10 reviews on significant issues of concern associated with JEM and the Environment during 2008; these will each be published with a Foreword from an influential researcher working in the same subject area.
10th Anniversary Editorials
We will be publishing a number of Editorials during 2008, from politically and/or scientifically significant people to further focus on current Environmental issues.
10th Anniversary Lectures
JEM is also planning to sponsor speakers at significant conferences during 2008.
An online advance article on the tissue-residue approach for toxicity assessment has now been published. Written by James Meador.
The Editorial for issue 10 is now published.
Mike Sharpe provides an overview of the JEM 10th anniversary lecture delivered at Dioxin 2008 by Prof. Kevin Jones, Lancaster University, UK.
