Faraday Discussions Impact Factor increases again!

The latest ISI 'Journal Citation Reports' have just been released, and we're proud to announce that the impact factor for Faraday Discussions has increased again, to an incredible 4.731! This is an increase of 30% on the previous year's value.
The immediacy index has also risen; it is now the second highest across all chemistry journals publishing primary research standing at 2.766. This is close to a 75% increase over the previous year's value of 1.594. The immediacy index is a measure of how topical and urgent the papers published by a journal are. The immediacy index is calculated by dividing the number of citations to articles published in a given year by the number of articles published in that year.
