This special issue will be dedicated to Professor Bruce Alberts at UCSF for his contributions to science and education.

Highlighting important areas of this emerging discipline, with an introduction by Professors Sachdev Sidhu and Hagan Bayley.

Computational Biology - Expected publication August/September 2009
Underlining the importance of computational approaches in systems biology, with an introduction by M Madan Babu and Hirotada Mori.
