2009 Annual Reports Section B is now published
09 September 2009
The 2009 volume of Annual Reports on the Progress of Chemistry: Section B has been published. Scientifically edited by Professors Ian Cunningham and Phil Page, this volume contains topical reviews showcasing the latest developments in organic and bioorganic chemical research in 2008 - a great teaching resource for those wanting to find information that spans the whole of organic chemistry in one place. Thank you to all the contributors who have helped to put together this volume.
2009 Annual Reports Section B features reviews in:
- Synthetic methods: free-radical reactions, oxidation and reduction methods, heteroatom chemistry
- Organometallics: transition metals in organic synthesis
- Organocatalysis
- Heterocyclic chemistry
- Marine natural products
- Synthesis highlights
- Supramolecular chemistry
- Biotransformations
- N-Heterocyclic carbine containing complexes in catalysis
- Reaction mechanisms - radical and radical ion reactions, pericyclic reactions, polar reactions
- Physical methods and techniques NMR spectroscopy
- Reactivity in organised assemblies
- Organic photochemistry
- Computational organic chemistry
- Enantioselective catalysis
- Bioinspired organic chemistry
Annual Reports are published in 3 sections. Section B contains research from synthetic methodology through reaction mechanisms and theoretical organic chemistry to natural products and bio-organic chemistry. Information on what is included in the latest published volumes for the 2 remaining sections of Annual Reports can be found in the Also of Interest area.
