This training aims to provide chemical students with experience in understanding scientific chemical papers in their field and especially help them understand the experimental section in order to follow accurately and be able to repeat a chemical preparation or a general method described in scientific papers.This training is initially free to attend but there will be fees in the next years. The number of participants is limited to 40 on the basis of first come first accepted with priority to RSC student members.
Pre-requisitesThe participants should be preparing a master or PhD in chemistry. However other disciplines could be allowed including physics and biology. To be accepted in the course, the students should send their enrollment certificate for the year of the course.
Additional infoThe training is a class based course for 2 h each during 7 days and there is no lunch or accommodation needed.
