This classroom-based course provides strategies to develop and optimise methods for liquid chromatography and LC-MS along with knowledge of advanced techniques for analysing complex samples.
This course is packed full of examples and practical tips and includes questions throughout the course and a Q&A session at the end of the day.
The course starts by reviewing clean-up procedures for difficult samples.
Delegates will learn about the parts of the HPLC & MS system which require maintenance and how to identify when maintenance is required.
The course details the strategies and processes for HPLC & LC-MS troubleshooting and for each component of the system we identify the problem areas. Delegates can then put this knowledge to the test through practical exercises in troubleshooting problematic chromatograms.
At the end of the course you will have in-depth knowledge of which areas of the instrument require maintenance and how to approach instrument troubleshooting.
This course is for those who have a basic knowledge of liquid chromatography and would like to greatly enhance it. Beginners should attend our Absolute Basics of HPLC & LC-MS course first.
Additional infoIncludes: lunch and refreshments; hard copy of the training manual in colour; certificate of attendance; ability to ask questions and discuss own problems.
