This module looks at the types of solvents used in mobile phase and their respective properties are examined in detail. This is followed by information on gradient elution (high or low pressure mixing and solvent dwell times); along with problems that are frequently encountered in this area. Strategies for how to optimise your LC system will be discussed, including the necessity to minimise system void volume to increase performance.
This module is taught live in a virtual classroom through interactive, instructor-led training with instrument parts and consumables shown and explained. Small group sizes with plenty of opportunities to ask questions through live Q&A.
This is module 2 of the Virtual Classroom Training: Practical Essentials of HPLC & LC-MS (total 18 hours over 5 days) and the Virtual Classroom Training: Complete HPLC & LC-MS (total 34 hours over 9 days).
This course is for those who have limited knowledge of liquid chromatography and would like to learn more about this particular area of the instrument.
