This module looks at mass spectrometry with atmospheric pressure inlets. Electrospray, APCI and APPI ionisation techniques are discussed, mass analysers and tandem mass spectrometry are also covered.
The final section covers targeted or non-targeted analysis including applications that require data dependant acquisition (DDA).
Delegates will learn about the principles and components of the mass spectrometer and how to apply them to their sample analysis.
This module is taught live in a virtual classroom through interactive, instructor-led training with instrument parts and consumables shown and explained. Small group sizes with plenty of opportunities to ask questions through live Q&A.
This is module 7 of the Virtual Classroom Training: Practical Essentials of HPLC & LC-MS (total 18 hours over 5 days) and the Virtual Classroom Training: Complete HPLC & LC-MS (total 34 hours over 9 days).
