After this module, participants should:
- have a range of new strategies to explore in their teaching
- feel confident about how to implement these strategies in their classroom
- have a refreshed understanding of key topics
Throughout the module, participants will gain knowledge and skills for teaching chemistry through guided learning discussions, where science ideas and experiences will be shared with a group of fellow ECTs and teaching experts.
This course is most suited to teachers who are:
- new to their teaching role
- looking to build understanding and confidence
- keen to hear the expertise of course facilitators
Once participants complete all four sessions, they will qualify for a certificate of attendance to add to their professional development portfolio or record.
Prerequisites
Participants must be members of Teach Chemistry to access this course and must be a teacher in a educational establishment within the UK or ROI.
