DIA Biotechnology Outsourcing Workshop

Introduction

Successful outsourcing of clinical drug development activities is critical to smaller companies who typically lack the infrastructure and personnel to perform these functions in-house. The DIA biotechnology outsourcing conference will bring together operational personnel and managers from smaller biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies and their service providers to examine the unique challenges that these partners face and to engage in discussions on how to achieve greater value from outsourcing. The focus is on interactive discussion, not on lengthy presentations by speakers. Representation by sponsor companies and service providers will offer the perspectives of both sides of the fence. The goal is to enable participants to share their insights and experiences and to examine how they can apply these concepts to their own projects and corporate culture.
