BRLSI and the Royal Society of Chemistry are proud to host the third 6th Form Chemistry afternoon on Wednesday 11th February in association with University of Bath & University of Bristol. You will hear talks on 'Picture it...Chemistry – messing with molecules', 'Polymers:Past, Present & the Future!', 'Searching for the Origins of Life' and 'Solar Energy and Green Batteries'. You can also hear about careers in chemistry and study help with RSC ChemNet from the SW Education Coordinator. You will have an opportunity to meet recent undergraduates and academic staff from the universities to pose questions about the talks or about taking your own studies further during the coffee break. This a free event but you do have to register.
This event is suitable for students aged 16-18. Attendees can be ChemNet members/non-members/teachers.
