NMR Discussion Group Christmas Meeting 2015

15 December 2015, London, United Kingdom

Introduction
This one-day meeting celebrates the publication of the two-volume text High Resolution NMR Spectroscopy in 1965 and the first publication of Progress in NMR Spectroscopy in 1966, written and edited by Jim Emsley, Jim Feeney and Les Sutcliffe. It is anticipated that the meeting will appeal to postgraduates, early career research workers, and established or retired NMR spectroscopists associated with any magnetic resonance related discipline in either academia or industry. The event will provide opportunities to revisit or learn about NMR past, but also to maintain an awareness of current developments in emerging areas of NMR.

As always, the NMR DG Christmas meeting will allow time for meeting delegates in a relaxed and informal environment. Jim Emsley, Jim Feeney and Les Sutcliffe will present short talks, followed by talks from distinguished scientists who have worked closely with them. Invited speakers include Melanie Britton (University of Birmingham), Angela Gronenborn (University of Pittsburgh), Geoffrey Luckhurst (University of Southampton), Steve Matthews (Imperial College London), Denis Merlet (Université Paris-Sud) and Gordon Roberts (University of Leicester).
