The Royal Society of Chemistry and Institute of Physics are holding a reception, kindly sponsored by Lord Robert May, in the Palace of Westminster on Tuesday 7 July between 4pm and 6pm.
We are celebrating the success of the UK’s world-leading science and innovation system with the launch of two brochures – Inspirational chemistry for a modern economy and Inspirational physics for a modern economy. These showcase examples of where the UK’s world-leading research, begun in individual laboratories, is now transforming the wider world and returning significant value to the economy.
All MPs coming to the session will have a photo opportunity and be provided with a template press release to send to local media to show your support for science in the UK.
You can find out more about the policy work of the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Institute of Physics through our respective websites.
This event is invitation only, but registration is not required for invitees.
