We are pleased to invite you to join us in Gothenburg, Sweden, for the 2nd International Symposium on Halogen Bonding (ISXB-2) on June 6-10, 2016. The symposium will be hosted by the Organic Chemistry Division of the Swedish Chemical Society.
Along the lines of ISXB-1, the meeting will cover all aspects where halogen bonding plays a role including fundamental and applied sciences. It will offer keynote presentations on cutting-edge topics by internationally renowned leaders of the field, followed by contributed talks and poster presentations to stimulate interdisciplinary discussions. In addition, a young researcher’s session will be organized to provide opportunities for and encourage Ph.D. students and postdocs to share their findings.
The symposium will be held at the Elite Park Avenue Hotel in central Gothenburg, which is located on the city’s main boulevard, just around the corner from Gothenburg’s cultural centre, with city shops right outside the door.
