Who is your heroine of science?
ChemNet invite you to join us for an exciting event celebrating the work of female scientists, past and present.
Are you in Years 9-11? Then register a team of 3-4 students to present a short talk about the work of a female scientist of your choice. If you're in Years 12-13 or don't fancy presenting then still come along to listen, and why not enter our poster competition to showcase your heroine of science? Can't make it? Don't worry, you can still enter the poster competition.
Plus hear from a panel of inspiring women who are currently using chemistry in their jobs.
Presentations and posters will be judged by a scientific panel and prizes awarded. Please email Charlotte Still for full details of how to register for each competition.
To register email charlotte.still@blackpoolsixth.ac.uk
This event is suitable for 14-18 year olds
Individual and school group bookings welcome
Registration will close 7 days before the event
