This years northern regional meeting for the Dalton Section of the Royal Society of Chemistry will be held on Thursday 29th June 2017 in the Department of Chemistry (Dainton Building) at the University of Sheffield.
The event is free and is intended to give early career researchers and PhD students an opportunity to present their work (15 mins including questions). The day will start at 10:00 with coffee, lunch will be provided and we will conclude at 16:30. The deadline for conference registration is the Friday 23rd June. Registration is through the Book Now button on this page.
All participants are encouraged to bring a poster and to apply to give a 15 minute presentation.
The deadline for applying to give a presentation is the 7th June 2017. Abstracts should be submitted via the Abstract Submission link on this page (right). Please use the RSC abstract template which can be obtained from the link on this page.
The conference talks finish at 16:30 but if you don't need to rush off, join us for post-conference drinks at the University Arms across the road from the Chemistry Department. This will be followed by a post-conference trip to the Sentinel Brewery who will provide a buffet along with craft ale (http://www.sentinelbrewing.co/). Please indicate your availability as part of registration.
