Introduction

A free one-day symposium focusing on recovery of elements from waste streams.

This symposium will feature the research highlights from the G8 Phytocat project, which studied the use of plants to extract metals from mine tailings.

Who should attend?

This symposium would be of interest to academics and industrialists working in areas such as:

• Non-ferrous metals
• Catalysis (manufacture and use)
• Batteries and other low-carbon energy mining
• Biotechnology
• Materials Chemistry

We welcome proposals for short talks and posters.
