The Brazilian Meeting on Organic Synthesis (BMOS) is a biannual scientific conference that has become one of the most important international events in the Brazilian Chemical Society. The attendance has grown steadily and our last meeting had the participation of approximately four hundred people, including researchers from Europe, North America and other South American countries, such as Argentina, Chile and Uruguay.
The 13th edition of the BMOS will be held in São Pedro, Brazil, from the August 31¬st to the September 6th, 2009, at Hotel Colina Verde. For this event we have scheduled courses, plenary lectures (60-minutes oral presentations), invited lectures (40-minutes oral presentations) and short lectures (30-minutes oral presentations) by distinguished chemists from several countries, as well as about 20-25 flash presentations (07-minutes oral presentations) to be selected by the organizing committee from the abstracts submitted as oral communications.
