Over the last 12 months, Chemicals Northwest has been running an ambitious business improvement pilot programme called 'Process Innogateway'. With funding from the Northwest Regional Development Agency, we have been able to work with seven manufacturing sites across the region to test a methodology for assessing a company's performance, benchmarking it against UK and world class chemical sector standards, establishing interventions for improvement and identifying shared opportunities for companies aiding each other.
