New treatments for Cancer; hope or hoax?

24 June 2011, Chatham Maritime, United Kingdom

Introduction
If you have students who are interested in a career in medicine, pharmacy, chemistry, or biology this event has been designed to highlight current innovative cancer research in layman's terms, and to emphasize various career paths which students may not have considered. The day will consist of presentations from experts and current research students and after each talk there will be time to ask questions. During lunch there will be opportunities for networking and discussions with fellow students and staff. Tea and coffee will be provided but it is advisable to bring a packed lunch, though if you would prefer to purchase food there are also two canteens on site. The venue is easily accessible and there is plenty of free parking. This event is open to all who are interested, A-Level students in particular.
