‘OPEN LAB AT EARLSCLIFFE
1000 to 1600 on Saturday 25th November 2023
26 Grimston Gardens, Folkestone, CT20 2PX
Earlscliffe College’s A-Level Chemistry students would like to invite members of the local
community to join in a celebration of chemistry through this special, hands-on activity day.
The activity lasts for about an hour and all safety equipment will be provided.
This is the third time we organise this event for almost all ages (10-100) and no science
knowledge is required. The theme this year is colour and through colourful chemistry
making the invisible visible. No explosions, I am afraid, but amazing colours will emerge in
front of our very eyes with activities led by our young expert scientists, along with
FUJIFILM’s chemistry expert Craig Milsted.
Sessions start on the hour between 10:00 and 16:00.
To book your session contact Robert Goldmann (Chemistry teacher)
