This meeting is being held to celebrate the work of Dr David Karsa who passed away just before Christmas last year. David gave many years’ service to BACS, now BCA, serving as its Chairman and also as Chairman of the Speciality Surfactants Group, promoting unusual surfactants and applications outside the area of cleaning. For several years he was a valued member of the Secretariat team and also sat on the Executive Committee until his retirement in 2020.
The meeting will look at novel surfactants and applications such as dispersants, corrosion inhibitors etc and is suitable for a wide range of people from those new in the industry to experienced formulators and manufacturers
