The lunch is at The Galleywood Heritage Centre, Chelmsford, Essex. CM2 8TR. The talk is planned to start at 12.15pm followed by lunch at 1.15pm
The talk will focus on the native metals that humankind found to use from the beginning to Roman times and how the chances of history, geology and properties of metals themselves collaborated to get us an appreciation of the metals we use.
The talk includes an exhibition of samples of the metals, minerals and rocks.
There will be a £10 charge per member and guest.
