The Liverpool Local Section is holding a Gala Dinner, of which the theme is ‘Celebration in Chemistry.’
This is the first time in many years that the section has held an event like this. Following the pandemic, there was renewed enthusiasm for once again hosting an event that brings together chemists from across the region. It will be an opportunity to celebrate achievements and milestones of all kinds, particularly those that might have had their acknowledgment curtailed by the lockdowns.
Whether you are celebrating a graduation, a new position, gaining Registered or Chartered Status, an award, much-deserved retirement, other accomplishment, or just chemistry itself, the committee invites you to join us in the elegant surroundings of Liverpool’s iconic Royal Liver Building.
This is a great opportunity to meet, socialise, and network with fellow members of the chemistry community.
The £50 ticket price includes a three-course set menu dinner, and a welcome drink.

Starter: Cured Salmon, Buttermilk, Capers
Main: Pan Roasted Chicken Breast, Bourginion Garnish, Watercress Mash, Roasted Carrot, Jus
Dessert : Eton Mess

Main: Mushroom & Spinach Pithivier

There will be speeches from notable figures in the Chemistry community.
The section is particularly keen to extend a welcome to members from the neighbouring local sections, and across the country.
