INTRODUCTION
The congress is organized by Betta Student Development Initiative (BSD), birthed by the Royal Society of Chemistry Inclusion and Diversity Fund with the grant ID: (199173954). The congress is organized with the aim of sharing knowledge on food and environmental sustainability, as well as retraining postgraduate students and other participants on the best article drafting procedures, power point presentations and operational knowledge of chromatographic techniques.

Postgraduate Students 20,000
Staff of Universities, schools, industries etc 35,000
Non RSC Student members 50,000
For students who are not RSC members, free RSC student membership will be processed for you for the year 2025 upon your registration for the congress as a Non RSC student member.

BURSARIES
Researcher Development and Travel Grant
RSC Researcher Development and Travel Grants are open to PhD students and early career scientists in both industry and academia wishing to undertake an activity that supports their research career. The activities applied can be virtual or in-person. Early career chemists in the chemical sciences (including post docs, research technicians and research assistants), working in academia, industry or any sector, within 10 years of leaving full time education (at the time of the application deadline).You can apply for up to £500 to support your participation in this event.
Please note it is not necessary to have confirmation of abstract acceptance before applying for a Researcher Development and Travel Grant and we encourage you to apply as early as possible.

Grants for Carers
With our Grants for Carers, you can apply for up to £1,200 per year to help you attend a chemistry-related meeting, conference or workshop or professional development event. With our Accessibility Grants, you can apply for up to £1,200 per year to help with the cost of specific support to attend a chemistry-related meeting, conference, workshop or professional development event. PGNC congress registration refund
This is for award of twelve (12) students’, adjudged to have the best article presentation at the congress with two per sub theme and will be disbursed on the day of closing ceremony.
