Introduction

This Summer School aims at the state-of-the-art training in the form of lectures and consulting sessions designed for Ph.D. students and young researchers seeking to reinforce their knowledge and skills in the exciting frontier field of molecular photonic/electronic materials and active nanostructures at the interfaces with biology and living systems, mainly for bio-medical applications (diagnosis, therapy, cells and tissues communications, staining, sensing and detection).
