A new name for MedChemComm
In 2020, MedChemComm will change its name to RSC Medicinal Chemistry.
Why is the title changing?
Our new title will better reflect the breadth of the content we publish – Research Articles and Reviews.
What is not changing?
RSC Medicinal Chemistry will build on the reputation you have come to know, by retaining:
- Our scope and standards – we will continue to publish high quality work across all areas of medicinal chemistry and related drug discovery science
- Our commitment to rigorous and fair peer review, to ensure only high quality, significant work is published
- Our editor-in-chief, associate editors and editorial board
- The visibility of published articles in PubMed, Web of Science and Scopus
- Our open access options
When will the change take effect?
MedChemComm will publish all 12 issues in 2019, closing for submissions on 9 September 2019.
From 10 September 2019, we will be open for submissions to RSC Medicinal Chemistry. The first issue will be published in January 2020.
All papers published in MedChemComm will remain permanently available on our publishing platform, and discoverable in Web of Science, Scopus and PubMed.
