Royal Society of Chemistry at Burlington House welcomes new Head Chef
The Royal Society of Chemistry at Burlington House has appointed Josh Lindeberg as Head Chef.
Josh joins the venue’s in-house Houston & Hawkes team of culinary experts with a mission to create innovative, sustainable and memorable catering for corporate and private events that matches the venue’s vibrancy.
Coming from a corporate catering role within the Houston & Hawkes portfolio at investment management company Rathbones, Josh is well-versed in high-end fine dining experiences and the importance of impeccable service. He is classically trained in modern European cuisine, bringing with him a passion for creating contemporary, light and aesthetic dishes.
Josh’s approach to curating new menus at the venue will be ‘reinventing classics’, bringing in fan favourites with an innovative twist. With over 15 years of experience in the catering world, Josh is going to be a great fit within the RSC team, maintaining high standards of hospitality and pushing the boundaries of creativity to offer a unique and bespoke catering experience for events.
As the first B Corp caterer in the UK, Houston & Hawkes uses business as a force for good to benefit the planet. Josh’s commitment to using hyper-seasonal produce aligns with the business’ approach to sustainable catering and the conscious production of consumables.
On his new role, Josh said: “This is an exciting new challenge that I can’t wait to embrace. It’s such a social and friendly business which is exactly what hospitality is about, so the service and experience is delivered with authenticity for all guests. From private dinners to casual buffets, the vast range of events that the venue hosts, adds real variety to the kitchen and allows us to have a really bespoke approach for every client.”
