Mr Bryan Richard Vause BEd MA MRSC
17 February 1936 - 26th May 2013
Bryan Richard Vause MRSC B.Ed MA was born on the 17 February 1936 in Wakefield. He passed away suddenly but peacefully on the 26th May 2013 in Bradford Royal Infirmary, aged 77.
Bryan initially worked as an industrial chemist at ICI before deciding to train as a teacher in 1970. He then enjoyed a career of nearly 30 years as a secondary school teacher, teaching chemistry and general science at GCSE level. For the last 20 years of his career he taught at Holy Family School, in Keighley.
He retired from full time teaching in 1999, but continued to mark GCSE examination papers up to 2007 before finally calling it a day aged 71.
He is sadly missed and will be remembered fondly by his wife Mary, son Jonathan and grandsons James and Oliver.
