Mr Leonard Boothby obituary

Leonard Boothby BSc, CCHEM, MRSC passed away peacefully on Monday 29 July at the age of 91. Achieving second class honours at Durham University in 1949, Leonard went on to a successful career as an industrial chemist, during which he developed several patents specifically in polymers and lipids.
His career culminated in being a Research and Development Director. Chemistry was a lifelong passion. His periodic tables were always by his bedside. He was a proud and long standing member of the Royal Society of Chemists and will be missed by many.
